The bike docks match the style of the bike frame, and lock around the front wheel frame forks. The rental machine also matches the overall style of the bike, and features a large touch screen, card reader and keypad, with solar panels on the top. The machine dispenses a biodegradable hair cap which can be used for hygiene purposes underneath the helmet. There is also a waste bin for used hair caps to prevent littering.
Helmets are stored in lockers at the back of the machine, and the door will unlock when a bike is hired. The helmet must be returned to the locker when the bike is returned, the machine will scan the RFID tag located on the helmet to identify that the helmet is in place before the user can log off the system and end hire charges.

The bike docks are covered by a curved roof which provides weather protection and also houses solar panels to help power the rental station. The locking method involves pushing the front wheel into a rack which locks around the tire, frame and rim. Helmets are also locked onto the horizontal bar next to each bike.
The rental machine is located at one end of the station, and features a large touch screen, card reader and keypad. When a bike is hired, the bike and the helmet are unlocked ready for use. When a bike is returned, the helmet must also be locked in place before the system will allow the user to log off and end the hire charges.
